A little knowledge about Houndstooth (also known as houndstooth check, originated in Scotland at an unrecorded date. Its traditional colors are black and white, though modern versions use more colorful subsititutions. According to John Telfer Dunbar’s “The Costume of Scotland,” houndstooth was originally made on woven wool cloth, but it’s since made its way to tweed and other fabrics. I am in love with this print so much! It reminds me so much of my college uniform ahaha chos! (I’m from St.Paul manila FYI!) There’s really something so class/professional about it. I don’t know why I feel that way whenever i see someone wearing it. Plus I love black and white combo.
